Sand casting is an ancient technique whereby we create a mould using a special, slighty damp sand and then pour molten gold into the negative space left behind. Though sand casting has been largely replaced by centrifugal casting in recent decades, for hundreds of years it was the most popular of all casting methods. We love it for it’s uniqueness, as no two are truly the same.
